Job SummaryWe are growing! We are looking to grow our team with our new expansion. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and supporting administrative functions within a fast-paced medical environment. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality healthcare delivery.
Duties
- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms
- Measure and record vital signs accurately
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Support medication administration under supervision and assist with basic life support when necessary
- Operate EHR systems efficiently for documentation and appointment scheduling
- Assist with ICD coding, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology documentation for billing and record-keeping
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests such as X-ray or other imaging procedures
- Support patient service activities including answering questions, providing instructions, and ensuring comfort
- Venipuncture for blood draw
- Injections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas in compliance with safety standards
- Prior Authorizations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical-surgical procedures
- Ability to perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, assisting with X-ray procedures, and supporting patient care activities
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence

Pay: $16.00 – $21.00 per hour
