Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Healthcare Provider (PA-C, MD, DO, NP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a custom tailored care-plan environment, particularly within a private clinic setting. The Healthcare Provider will work collaboratively with Clinic Care Team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, providing comprehensive care to patients.
  • Administer injections and perform procedures.
  • Manage health coaching initiatives to promote wellness among patients.
  • Participate in the development of treatment plans, including documentation for patient management.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policy.

Skills (May be trained, does not have to be proficient in upon starting employment):

  • Proficiency in performing procedures such as dialyze and administering injections.
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in chronic condition care settings.
  • Knowledge of health coaching principles to support patient wellness initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and patient management.

Small private practice in Anchorage and Juneau Alaska is planning to hire Alaska Licensed Healthcare Provider (open to: PA-C, NP, DO, MD).

This is a very unique position, as this is a very boutique specialty clinic that primarily treats Chronic Pain and more specifically a sub-specialty of Chronic Migraines. .

Job posting may appear vague, as this is a one-of-a-kind position to see the same patients over and over and develop long lasting relationships and provide rewarding and exceptional and planned care within a very supportive and comfortable setting. We are not a volume based clinic. Everything is planned in advance and reviewed within the Care Team. Full understanding of the position will be most understood by doing a tour of our clinic(s) during the Interview Process, which some candidates will be extended the offer for Step 2 Interviews, as described below.

Step 1: Zoom Interviews (camera and audio required): Times will be issued on a first come first serve basis via message invitation on January 7, 2025 and January 8, 2025. Please respond to the message to confirm your interview time. This will be the first step prior to being offered the next step of an in-person interview. At the Zoom Interview, it will mostly be describing the clinic and the position and evaluating if this is an ideal fit for the interviewee to move forward. One to two providers are looking to be hired at this time with desire to add five new providers in the next twelve months.

Step 2: In-person interviews. These will be extended to candidates after a Zoom Interview. The in-person interviews will be held at the clinic in Anchorage. These interviews will be held on January 10, 2025 at various time slots.

Step 3: Start date of March 18, 2025 for six week training. Training will be four days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. A more formal schedule will be provided once hired. Training will end on Friday, April 25, 2025. Provider will start their first solo day as a salaried employee on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 and have a three day work week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

The provider hired would work in Anchorage and Juneau. Residing in Anchorage or surrounding areas is required and employer paid day travel to Juneau is required two to four times per month. Regardless of the provider’s background, training would begin in March 2025 for six weeks, as stated above.

This position is primarily procedure-based interventions in a very established and well-managed private clinic.

The right fit may be a well-established provider that has flexibility in their schedule to build a place within our clinic or a new graduate. Or it may be a stay-at-home parent looking to have a Full-time salaried position, but only work three days per week. Dates that are not negotiable are interview and training dates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $131,000.00 – $152,000.00 per year
