Pediatric Physician Assistant

Schedule: Monday-Friday- 10 Hour Shift or 8 Hour Shift, with availability for on-call and weekends.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you can support the pediatric orthopedic surgeon to provide specialized care for children with musculoskeletal conditions. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating various orthopedic issues in pediatric patients, as well as assisting in surgical procedures and postoperative care. The Physician Assistant may assist the surgeon in the clinic and hospital rounds.
What You Need For This Job:
- Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) License in the state of Alaska
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS
- Must reside in Alaska, or be willing to relocate/travel.
- Have general knowledge of EMR software and Outlook Programs
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to frequently stand; walk; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
