Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Psychiatry team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Psychiatry such as experience with diagnosing mental illness, and prescribing psychotropic medications.
– This may also include experience with adult and/or child and adolescent Psychiatry.
Responsibilities– Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate treatment- Conduct intakes, medication management appointments and Psychiatric evaluations- Collect and analyze patient data to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
– Educate patients on preventive care measures, some talk therapy, and public health initiatives
Requirements– Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant- Experience working in or have a passion to learn about psychiatry- Proficiency in outpatient assessment, and data collection- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team- Desire to continuously learn and grow professionally
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $70,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
