Position: Nurse Practitioner – Wound Care Specialist – PRN
Location: Fairhope, AL
Job Type: PRN
Hours: Days – Monday through Friday
Work Location: on road
Pay: $50-$70/hr. commensurate with experience

Position Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a passion for wound care to join our mobile healthcare team. You will perform advanced wound assessments, develop care plans, and provide treatment independently in collaboration with our supervising physicians and medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct bedside wound assessments and evaluations in post-acute, home, and facility settings.
- Diagnose and treat chronic wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and other skin conditions.
- Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and minor procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management and prevention.
- Document encounters accurately and timely using EMR systems (e.g., Intellicure or similar).
- Communicate care plans and collaborate with facility staff, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alabama (required)
- Board certification (AGNP, FNP, or Adult NP preferred)
- Experience in wound care, home health, or geriatric care strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within service area
- EMR documentation experience preferred (Intellicure experience is a plus)
Schedule & Benefits:

Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
