Full Job Description

The Tennessee Valley’s leader in orthopaedics, spine surgery and sports medicine is expanding and is seeking a full-time PA/NP to work independently in our Athens office.

Primary duties include:

  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic patients
  • Osteoporosis patient management
  • Sports physicals
  • Run parallel and independent clinics
  • Injections and aspirations
  • Refer for diagnostic treatment/tests
  • Evaluate x-ray, CT scan and MRI
  • Order and review lab results
  • Dictation
  • Computer literate and ability to use EHR
  • Demonstrating cooperation and communication with all staff to work as a team
  • No call

Successful candidate must be NCCPA certified or CRNP/FNP certified. Candidate needs to be an independent thinker, self confident, organized, hard working and able to work well with others in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment with excellent interpersonal skills. Candidate must be able to obtain an Alabama license.
