We’re excited to announce that we’re searching for an awesome Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Stopwatch Urgent Care clinics across Alabama! We’re looking for someone who can provide top-notch care for our patients while ensuring they have an exceptional experience. You’ll have the opportunity to use your problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same!
To be the perfect candidate for this role, you should:
- Be licensed as an NP or PA in the state of Alabama;
- Be able to work independently (under indirect supervision);
- Have at least one year of experience (2+ years preferred) as a provider in an urgent, immediate, or emergency care setting;
- Love the good, the bad, and the ugly of urgent care, and value working in a team-oriented, patient-centric culture;
- Be a great team player who can promote teamwork between clinical and administrative staff;
- Have the ability to use judgment to determine when to consult a supervising physician;
- Be flexible and adaptable with a focus on not turning any patient away before exhausting all reasonable options;
- Be willing to perform other duties as assigned.
Our clinics operate from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. seven days a week, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Work shifts will be scheduled according to business needs, with an average expected patient volume of 3-4 patients per hour.
