Position Summary
We are seeking a full time motivated and skilled Fellow to join our team. The Fellow is responsible for participating in advanced clinical and/or specialty training within the practice while providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed physicians and leadership. This role is designed to expand clinical knowledge, procedural competency, professional development, and specialty expertise in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols, organizational policies, and supervising physician guidance
- Participate in patient consultations, evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Assist with surgical and/or non-surgical procedures as applicable to the fellowship program
- Accurately document patient encounters, treatment plans, and clinical notes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in educational conferences, training sessions, case reviews, and research initiatives as assigned
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention standards, and all applicable federal and state regulations
- Support quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts
- Maintain professional conduct and represent the organization positively at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership or supervising physicians
Qualifications
- Doctorate or advanced medical degree from an accredited institution required
- Completion of applicable residency or clinical training program required
- Current and unrestricted state licensure or eligibility for licensure required
- DEA registration and controlled substance certification, if applicable
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
