Providence Medical Group is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to join its inpatient Palliative Care team in Anchorage, Alaska. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice alongside a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team focused on improving the quality of life for patients with chronic and life-altering illnesses. The team works closely with inpatient providers, outpatient palliative care clinicians, nursing staff, social workers, case managers and chaplains to provide seamless, patient-centered care. Position Details: Full-time position 4, 10-hour shifts schedule Opportunity for flexibility in schedule Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits 40 CME hours and $5,000 annual CME allowance Up to $25,000 in relocation assistance 264 hours of paid time off annually Qualifications & Requirements: 1 to 3 years of experience is preferred Experience leading family meetings and goals-of-care conversations Knowledge of symptom management Experience in medication management, serious illness communication, and end-of-life care Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including patients, physicians, faculty, residents, nursing staff, social workers, case managers, chaplains, and other healthcare professionals Where You’ll Work Providence Medical Group – Alaska is a multi-specialty group with 70 physicians and advanced-practice clinicians serving greater Anchorage and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley.
