Full Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment in Washington. This role involves comprehensive outpatient care from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on preventative care, acute visits, chronic disease management, behavioral health, women’s health, and pediatric care for a diverse patient population. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventative services, wellness exams, and chronic disease management for conditions like hypertension and diabetes. Manage acute care needs such as minor injuries, infections, respiratory issues, and urgent walk-ins. Address behavioral health concerns including depression, anxiety, and substance use support. Offer basic gynecological care, screenings, and family planning services within scope. Conduct routine pediatric check-ups and manage common childhood illnesses. Perform procedures such as toenail removal, suturing, I&Ds, Nexplanon insertion and removal (with training), wound care, and wart removal. Participate in the MAT program, focusing on continuity and patient access. Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions across a diverse patient population. Collaborate with on-site clinical staff and support care coordination efforts. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and comply with all clinic protocols. Support underserved and tribal health initiatives with culturally competent care.
