Phoenix MD is seeking experienced and motivated Physician Assistant or Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join our growing team. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about preventive care and enjoy providing high-quality, patient-centered health care. Phoenix MD offers advanced primary care via a membership model and does not participate with any third party payers. This model creates a unique practice environment that restores the patient provider relationship, allows for greater interactions with the patient, and it allows the provider to practice medicine based on the patient’s personal and individual needs.

Phoenix MD also offers integrative medical therapies, such as hormone replacement therapy and medically assisted weight loss. The ideal candidate would be knowledgeable. In these areas including male and female HRT, GLP peptide weight loss, and other integrative health strategies.

Position Overview

The PA or Advanced Nurse Practitioner will perform comprehensive preventive health examinations for adult men and women and children over age 12. This includes conducting detailed head-to-toe assessments, identifying risk factors, and guiding patients through next steps in their personalized preventive care plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough, comprehensive physical examinations on adult patients.
• Conduct women’s health exams, including pelvic exams and PAP smears (required).
• Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs (preferred but not required).
• Order appropriate preventive screening tests, such as mammograms, DEXA scans, colonoscopies, and related diagnostics.
• Provide follow-up communication, reviewing results with patients and offering anticipatory guidance, lifestyle counseling, and health education.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Management of acute and chronic illness and injuries in accordance with established standard of care practices.
• Treatment of chronic disease and risk factors associated with chronic disease should be managed with established standard of care practices as well as integrative medical therapies designed at getting to the root cause of disease and restoring optimal wellness.
• Competent in office based procedures such as skin biopsies, skin lesion removal drainage of abscesses removal of ingrown toenails, minor wound care, including laceration, repair joint and trigger point injections. An ideal candidate would also be skilled in the implantation of hormone pellets.
• Skilled in the management of hormone imbalance in both men and women, with a key focus on testosterone replacement in both sexes.
• An eagerness to learn and a willingness to advance skills and learning independently.
• Compassionate, with a warm personality and committed to going above and beyond in the treatment of patient members.
• DOT Certification is desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
