Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiovascular healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care across various settings, including acute care, outpatient services, and geriatrics. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality medical services while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.

Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions.
• Provide specialized care in cardiovascular disease detection, evaluation, and treatment.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems – Familiarity with eCW a plus.
• Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for case management and discharge planning.
• Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license with relevant certifications.
• Experience cardiovascular disease and general cardiology
• Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.

Pay: $90,229.30 – $129,760.02 per year
