Quick Facts: Location: 2500 Rocky Mountain Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Permanent Shift: Nocturnist overnight shift Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent Licenses/Certifications: Colorado state license, ACLS, BLS, DEA (if applicable) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of trauma/surgical experience or completed surgical fellowship Pay & Benefits: Competitive annual salary ranging from $136,822 to $179,379, based on experience Up to $10,000 annual incentive through QVIP Relocation assistance up to $10,000 (eligible candidates) Fully paid malpractice insurance CME benefits of up to $3,500 per year plus 5 CME days Health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability with options to buy-up Paid time off from day one, including family and medical leave and Colorado FAMLI Education assistance programs, with up to $5,250 yearly for approved courses Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility with guidance provided What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive trauma and emergency surgical care overnight Manage trauma admissions and inpatient cases with autonomous practice Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support Conduct patient evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostic results Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR Support quality, safety, and performance initiatives in trauma surgery Engage in professional development and leadership opportunities as available What You Need: Valid Colorado medical license and current certifications (ACLs, BLS) At least 2 years of trauma or surgical experience, or completion of a surgical fellowship Strong clinical skills in trauma and acute care surgery Ability to work independently and handle complex cases effectively About the Assignment: Join a high-acuity medical center committed to excellence in trauma and surgical care.
