Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantLiving Method | Pasadena, CA

Part-Time (1099) with Opportunity for Full-Time Growth

Are you looking to help redefine healthcare instead of simply practicing it?

Living Method is an innovative physician-led longevity center and concierge medical practice in Pasadena focused on extending healthspan through proactive, evidence-based medicine. We combine preventive medicine, fitness, nutrition, regenerative therapies, advanced diagnostics, and personalized care to help patients optimize brain and whole-body health—not just treat disease.

We’re seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team two afternoons per week as an independent contractor (1099). This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment and wants the opportunity to grow into a long-term leadership role as the practice expands.

If you’re a self-starter who thrives on innovation, enjoys building systems, and wants to help shape the future of longevity medicine, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

Working alongside our Medical Director, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits for concierge and longevity patients.
  • Assist with annual wellness examinations and preventive care.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving healthspan, performance, and quality of life.
  • Provide lifestyle counseling, nutrition guidance, exercise recommendations, and risk factor modification.
  • Evaluate and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions within your scope of practice.
  • Perform office procedures including joint injections, trigger point injections, IV therapy oversight, peptide administration, phlebotomy, and other wellness procedures (training provided as needed).
  • Participate in regenerative medicine and longevity programs including physician-directed therapies.
  • Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing.
  • Document accurately using Athena EHR (experience preferred but not required).
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, fitness professionals, nutrition coaches, and patient coordinators.
  • Deliver exceptional concierge-level patient care with outstanding communication and follow-through.
  • Participate in developing new clinical programs and workflows as our practice continues to grow.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

  • Passionate about preventive medicine and longevity science.
  • Excited to work in an entrepreneurial startup environment.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
  • A self-starter who identifies solutions rather than waiting for direction.
  • Compassionate, personable, and committed to exceptional patient experiences.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and evolving clinical protocols.
  • Interested in building a long-term career with significant growth potential.

Qualifications

  • Current California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, functional medicine, sports medicine, or concierge medicine is a plus.
  • Interest or experience in longevity medicine, hormone optimization, nutrition, exercise physiology, regenerative medicine, peptides, aesthetics, or preventive medicine is highly desirable.
  • Athena EHR experience is a plus.
