Technology Enhanced Learning and Living is a woman clinician-owned therapy center created over 15 years ago in response to the needs of adults with disabilities.
Our clinic is hiring speech-language pathologists or clinical fellows for a full-time position working with the population of adults with IDD and on the autism spectrum.
The position is for in-person therapy at a central Austin location with no traveling.
CF applicants are given sufficient hours and supervision to meet ASHA requirements.
Our ideal candidate is a team player who understands the dynamics of adult communication and the relationship between communication and behavior.
Skills in ASL, Spanish and programming SGD devices are compensated with an additional signing bonus.
Pay increase reviews at 90, 180 and 360 days of successful employment. Signing bonus paid after one year.

Qualifications
- Must hold a valid CCC-SLP or CF-SLP license
- Experience working with adult patients preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
- Familiarity with best practices and assistive technology
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to monitor and update individualized treatment plans.
- Implement a variety of strategies to support adults with developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families and care staff to enhance communication.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and support for caregivers in communication practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour
