FEM Women’s Wellness is a dynamic, patient-centered women’s health practice offering an innovative, integrated model of care. We are a boutique, full-spectrum women’s wellness clinic supporting patients across multiple specialties — all under one roof.
We are seeking a full-time, experienced Medical Assistant to join our high-performing team and support our Gynecology providers. This is a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM onsite position in our Reno, NV location.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist our GYN providers in day-to-day patient care (no OB)
- Prepare charts and patient records in advance of appointments
- Call patients to collect necessary information and assist with scheduling needs
- Triage and complete patient messages and tasks in a timely manner
- Take vitals and prep patients for exams and in-office procedures
- Stock and clean rooms, flip rooms between visits, and maintain inventory
- Ensure clinical spaces are organized and equipped for efficient workflow
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and contribute to our supportive team culture
What We’re Looking For:
- Medical Assistant experience required
- Experience in Women’s Health/GYN strongly preferred (no OB)
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Familiarity with AdvancedMD or similar EMR is a plus
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Team-oriented, reliable, and professional demeanor

Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
- Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure proper handling of medical equipment and instruments.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:
- Strong patient service orientation with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
- Knowledge of anatomy and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Experience or training in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or internal medicine is preferred.
- Understanding of dermatology practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with surgical environments (OR) and geriatric care is beneficial.
- Proficiency in medical-surgical procedures and systems used in healthcare settings.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
