NURSE MANAGER

If this describes you, here is what to expect:

SCHEDULE: 4 or 5 days per week (30 – 37.5 hours)

LOCATION: Rotating between the Fairview Heights/Granite City offices, as well as the Mobile Medical Unit

SALARY: $36-38/hr; if applicant is an RDMS, salary is negotiable

BENEFITS: Paid vacation, Health insurance, Sick days

RELATIONSHIP: Reports to President/CEO

Responsibilities:

I. Nursing Care

• Provide nursing care by assessing patient needs and making nursing judgments that reflect safe nursing practices
• Oversee nursing services, including pregnancy testing, STI screening, STI treatment, and limited first-trimester ultrasounds
• Ensure accurate implementation of physician’s orders and maintain accurate records
• Provide education for patients on pregnancy options (never referring for abortion)
• Oversee patient follow-up per standardized procedures

II. Medical Service Operations

• Ensure that medical equipment is properly operated and maintained
• Data entry of patient statistics
• Comply with state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements
• Annual renewal of CPR certification
• Assist in daily Mosaic Health duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, etc.
• Additional duties as assigned

III. Nurse Management

• Train, oversee, and evaluate nursing staff
• Create and manage the nurse schedule
• Ensure all offices and the MMU are stocked with medical supplies
• Update and maintain all medical sections of the policy and procedure manual
• Communicate with the medical director regarding ultrasounds and medical policies
• Oversee the First Steps Parenting Classes (curriculum and volunteers)

Pay: $36.00 – $38.00 per hour
