Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiology Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will operate advanced medical imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in evaluating and treating patients. Your expertise in radiologic procedures, patient care, and radiation safety will ensure accurate imaging results while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam
  • Operate a variety of radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray and C-Arm
  • Implement radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure during all imaging activities
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to perform diagnostic evaluations across emergency rooms, urgent care centers, and Level I and Level II trauma centers
  • Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, ensuring accuracy for medical documentation and billing purposes
  • Assist in specialized imaging techniques such as sonography and interventional radiography when required
  • Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and operated according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in Radiology
  • Proficiency in operating radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray and C-Arm
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles to accurately interpret imaging needs
  • Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection measures during all procedures
  • Experience with patient care techniques such as aseptic technique and ensuring patient comfort during complex procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) is required
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff and educate patients about procedures
