Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA): Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Care

Sports & Performance Physical Therapy | Reno, Nevada

Sports & Performance Physical Therapy is a premier, physical therapist-owned private practice located in beautiful downtown Reno. We specialize in orthopedics, sports medicine, and dance/performing arts medicine, delivering high-level, individualized care to an active and diverse population.

Our model is built on quality over volume with extended one-on-one treatment sessions, a collaborative team environment, and a commitment to exceptional patient outcomes. We integrate advanced manual therapy, strength and conditioning, Pilates-based rehabilitation, and sport- and performance-specific training to help our patients return to what they love while stronger and more resilient.

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about patient care, performance-based rehabilitation, and helping athletes, performers, and active individuals achieve their goals.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
  • Current, active Nevada Physical Therapist Assistant License (required).
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine preferred; motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
