Clinics are owned and managed by therapists and specialize in quality outpatient orthopedic care, sports, aquatic therapy, vestibular therapy, and pre/post-surgical rehabilitation. We currently have clinics in College Station, Houston, and Dallas. Our organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for Irving , Texas

The right candidate will take on a wide range of responsibilities, including reviewing patient files, administering physical therapy and communicating with professionals regarding their patients’ progress. We are looking for a driven and hard-working individual with strong organizational skills who is willing to take on responsibility for all aspects of patient care in our busy clinic.

New graduates are welcome to apply as well. The Physical Therapist Assistant works under direct supervision of a Physical Therapist and performs rehabilitative exercises with patients. Provide treatment for patients with orthopedic injuries and neurological disorders. This position requires a commitment to the therapeutic standards upheld by our company and a passion for helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Physical Therapy services and interventions within the scope of practice of the PTA. Services include using Therapeutic exercises, modalities, and performing manual techniques
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks at the direction of a physical therapist.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately using EMR.
  • Assist therapists with discharge planning and coordination with other medical providers.
  • Collaborate with the physical therapist to develop and adjust treatment plans.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication.

Required:

  • Graduation from accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
  • Current State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required
