Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and team-oriented Physician Assistant to join our busy Pain Management and Personal Injury practice. This position is part-time initially (2 days per week), with an opportunity to increase to 3-5 days per week as the practice continues to grow. This position is an independent contract position. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced PAs and motivated new graduates who are looking to build a rewarding career in interventional pain management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience across various medical settings, demonstrating proficiency in patient assessment, medical treatment, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care within a fast-paced surgical environment, utilizing advanced clinical skills and comprehensive medical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Current California Physician Assistant license (or eligible prior to start date).
- DEA license (or eligible to obtain).
- BLS certification.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the supervising physician.
- Interest in musculoskeletal medicine, spine disorders, pain management, and personal injury.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with acute and chronic neck, back, joint, and musculoskeletal pain.
- Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
- Develop treatment plans under physician supervision.
- Manage patients injured in motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury cases.
- Order and review imaging studies, laboratory tests, and diagnostic studies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical documentation.
- Educate patients regarding their diagnosis and treatment options.
- Coordinate care with physical therapists, chiropractors, attorneys, case managers, and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in follow-up care and monitor patient progress.

You will work closely with an experienced, board-certified physicians and receive hands-on mentorship in:
- Comprehensive musculoskeletal and spine evaluations
- MRI, CT, X-ray, and EMG/NCV interpretation
- Ultrasound-guided injections
- Interventional pain management
- Personal Injury evaluations and documentation
- Advanced clinical decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Pain Management, PM&R, Orthopedics, Neurology, Sports Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Personal Injury is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish, Farsi, Chinese, or other languages) is highly desirable but not required.

Pay: $75.00 – $115.00 per hour
