Sign Estimator / Inside Sales Position Overview
We are a growing custom sign manufacturing company seeking an experienced Sign Estimator to prepare accurate estimates and coordinate projects from inquiry through production.
This position manages projects from initial estimate through final customer invoicing and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
The ideal candidate has experience in the sign industry and understands electrical signs, dimensional letters, wide format printing, fabrication methods, installation requirements, and material costing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates for custom sign projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
- Calculate material, labor, equipment, and installation costs
- Communicate with customers regarding pricing, project scope, and scheduling
- Coordinate with production, design, and installation teams
- Obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing when required
- Assist with permit and installation planning
- Track estimate revisions and maintain project documentation
- Maintain estimating databases and pricing standards
- Monitor project costs and change orders to ensure accurate billing and profitability
- Prepare final project invoices and documentation for customer submittal
- Support continuous improvement of estimating and project management processes
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sign estimating, project management, or sign sales
- Knowledge of channel letters, cabinet signs, dimensional letters, vinyl graphics, wide format printing, and sign installation methods
- Ability to read construction drawings, architectural plans, and site surveys
- Experience with sign industry software (Cyrious experience preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Pay: $56,732.50 – $68,323.02 per year
