Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join an established dermatology practice in Plano, TX. In this role, candidates will provide comprehensive dermatological care, including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedural interventions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical dermatology, demonstrate proficiency with electronic health records systems, and be committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on innovative skin health solutions and aesthetic treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time schedule, no weekend requirements
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review and physical examinations
  • Perform and assist with dermatological procedures
  • Manage dermatological issues, triage urgent cases, and coordinate timely interventions
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with HIPAA regulations and DEA guidelines
  • Utilize EMR/EHR systems for documentation, data collection, and medical records management.
  • Educate patients on skin health, treatment options, and post-procedure care
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Document CPT codes accurately for billing purposes related to dermatological services
  • Provide cosmetic services including but no limited to Botox, fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, laser skin treatments, etc.

Experience

  • Active Texas State License or the ability to obtain
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner within a dermatology setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
  • Experience performing dermatological procedures
  • Strong understanding of medical coding for billing and documentation purposes
  • Excellent patient assessment skills combined with effective communication abilities
