Central Carolina Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant to join our growing, physician-owned practice. Position Summary

This position offers the opportunity to provide care across the full spectrum of women’s health. Working closely with experienced OB/GYN physicians, the Physician Assistant will support patients through routine gynecologic care, pregnancy, postpartum care, preventive services, and other women’s health needs.

The exact balance of obstetric and gynecologic responsibilities may be tailored based on the candidate’s experience, interests, training, and the needs of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide obstetric and gynecologic care in an outpatient setting
  • Perform annual wellness exams and preventive health visits
  • Evaluate and manage common acute and chronic women’s health conditions
  • Participate in prenatal and postpartum care
  • Counsel patients regarding contraception, family planning, menopause, and preventive health
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
  • Perform office procedures within the Physician Assistant scope of practice
  • Educate patients and serve as an advocate for their health and well-being
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, sonographers, and administrative staff
  • Document patient care accurately within the electronic health record
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice growth

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Current North Carolina Physician Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
  • OB/GYN or women’s health experience preferred but not required
  • New graduates with a strong interest in women’s health are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Strong desire to work collaboratively within a team environment
