Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will support accurate diagnosis, effective treatment plans, and compassionate patient interactions. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history intake
  • Assist in diagnostic evaluation by interpreting laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests such as radiology and pathology reports
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and HIPAA regulations
  • Perform procedures including suturing, injection administration (e.g., botulinum toxin treatments), and aseptic techniques for various clinical interventions
  • Manage acute pain, critical care situations, ventilator management, and airway procedures within hospital or emergency settings
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties such as infectious disease care, geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, and occupational health to optimize patient care pathways

Requirements

  • Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Proven experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU or Level I/II trauma centers preferred
  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience with EMR/EHR management is essential
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and drug enforcement regulations (DEA) for prescribing controlled substances
  • Critical care experience including ventilator management, airway management, and critical & intensive care procedures
  • Skilled in performing physical examinations, diagnostic test interpretation, data collection, discharge planning, and client communication
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as urgent care clinics or trauma centers while maintaining excellent patient care standards
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and clinical research/trials is a plus

Pay: $75,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
