Job Description:
Join our dynamic and progressive cardiology group located in California. We are dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care to our community. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our expanding practice in an outpatient role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care in an outpatient setting. This position offers a sustainable workload with reasonable patient volumes, allowing providers adequate time to deliver thoughtful, high-quality care.
This position requires a minimum of one year of experience working in cardiology as an NP or PA.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients in the outpatient setting, including follow-up and new consultation visits.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ cardiovascular health.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our team of cardiologists.
- Supervise diagnostic procedures such as stress tests.
- Provide patient education on cardiovascular disease prevention, management, and lifestyle modification.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of cardiology experience as an NP or PA.
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- ACLS required.
