ADVANCED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – COSMETIC INJECTIONS
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and certified medical assistant to join our growing team! Experience assisting a cosmetic injector and prefer a candidate with sterile techniques. This is a full-time position with a rigorous schedule, typically involving at least 40 hours per week over 4 days, Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays.
As a medical assistant, you will work directly with our cosmetic injectors to provide top-tier patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, detail-oriented, and thrives under pressure. Experience in a medical spa, plastic surgery, or similar aesthetic industry is preferred. Phlebotomy skills are preferred, but can be trained.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Occasionally Fridays as needed.
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Surgical Tech (proof of current certification required)
- Phlebotomy experience preferred, but can be trained as they will be required
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Experience assisting a cosmetic injector preferred
- Experience in a medical spa, plastic surgery, or aesthetic field is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties:
- Assist advanced cosmetic injector with procedures including Botox, Dermal Fillers, and other aesthetic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure sterile technique standards are maintained
- Room patients, obtain medical history, and prepare for procedures
- Perform blood draws and assist with ordering and documenting lab work
- Manage social media content creation, including before and after photos
- Assist with scheduling, patient education, and follow-up care
- Maintain treatment room cleanliness, inventory supplies, and sterilize instruments
Pay: Pay is competitive and based on experience and certification. Starting $23/hour + opportunity for bonuses.

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and/or Certified Surgical Tech
