Full Job Description
At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Certified Medical Assistants strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences in the ambulatory clinics. St. Luke’s Health System is growing and has a new and exciting opportunity with our On Demand Virtual Care team. We are looking for an experienced MA to assist providers in a remote capacity to call patients and pharmacies as well as other back office duties so providers can focus on offering the best patient care.
What You Can Expect:
- On Demand providers are available 7 days a week (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) to address common symptoms and support patient needs
- Assist patients in establishing care through New Patient Welcome Visits
- Provide remote support to providers, helping streamline daily workflows
- Complete outbound calls to patients and pharmacies along with other back-office administrative tasks
- Work a schedule of 4 days per week, including 1 weekend shift per month
Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- 1 year of CMA experience
Certifications
- Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
