Job Summary
The hospitalist rounding / admitting. This position is responsible for managing patient admissions, ensuring excellent care, and maintaining flow through the hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical setting, particularly within a hospital environment, and will be proficient in medical documentation health record systems such as Epic.
Responsibilities
- Manage the admission process for patients arriving during the night shift, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Communicate with nurses, case management and supervising physicians.
- Utilize health information management practices to ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions within the hospital setting
Requirements
- Previous hospitalist experience preferred.
- ICU nursing experience found to be helpful.
- A good attitude and a willingness to learn not only medicine but how to improve personal interaction.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $131,000.00 – $146,500.00 per year
