Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an engaging contract position in a school setting located in Palo Alto, CA. This role requires a certified SLP with expertise in working in educational environments, specifically holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). The contract begins ASAP and continues through the End of School Year (EOSY).

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials for school-based practice
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience providing speech and language evaluations and therapy for school-age children
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills tailored to support student progress

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
  • Monitor and document student progress in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication development
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to IEP development and review processes
