Full Job Description
Midwest Surgery Center in Wichita is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager to provide leadership and oversight for perioperative nursing staff within our ambulatory surgery center.
This position is responsible for supervising RN staff in the Operating Room, Pre-Op, PACU/Recovery, and discharge areas while supporting high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff education, and daily clinical coordination.

Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and leadership for RN staff including OR circulators, Pre-Op, PACU, and discharge nurses
- Coordinate nursing schedules, staffing assignments, and coverage
- Assist with interviewing and selection of RN personnel
- Oversee orientation, competencies, annual evaluations, and ongoing education for nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with ASC policies, infection prevention standards, medication safety, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, policy review, and accreditation readiness
- Collaborate with physicians and administration to improve nursing workflows and patient outcomes
- Serve as a clinical resource and assist with direct patient care when needed
Qualifications
- Current Kansas RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- PACU experience required
