We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly motivated Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing pain management practice. In this role, you will work closely with our board-certified pain management physicians to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Our clinic focuses on improving our patients’ quality of life through a multidisciplinary approach, utilizing both non-surgical care and interventional pain management strategies.

Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Evaluate, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients experiencing complex acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and oversee pain control regimens safely and effectively, strictly adhering to Florida state prescribing laws and clinic protocols.
- Procedural Support: Perform or assist with interventional pain management procedures (such as joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks) depending on your experience and credentialing.
- Diagnostics: Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans) and laboratory tests.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly alongside physicians, medical assistants, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health management, alternative treatment strategies, post-procedure care, and physical rehabilitation expectations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate, and prompt patient records within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Compliance: Maintain familiarity with specialized billing practices, including CPT coding and Workers’ Compensation guidelines.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program OR graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered APRN or PA license to practice in the State of Florida.
- Certifications:
- Current DEA registration.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), or a related specialty is strongly preferred. (Highly motivated new graduates with clinical rotation experience in pain management may be considered).
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent interpersonal communication, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
