Full Job Description
Clarkston Internal Medicine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Urgent Care team in Clarkston, Michigan.
We are a locally owned private practice focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and team-oriented environment. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with consistent weekday hours and no weekends.
Position Details
- Full-Time
- Four days a week (Tuesday-Friday)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- No weekends
- Closed on major holidays
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Perform physical exams and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing as needed
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan
- Urgent care, family practice, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- EMR experience preferred
