Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week overnight weekend assignment at a Level I Trauma acute care hospital, with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required ARRT and GE scanner proficiency.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with a 500-bed facility and 3 CT machines in the department
- Level I Trauma designation
- Performs CT scans in the ED and main hospital, with additional assistance for morning chest x-rays in the ICU
- Equipment includes GE scanners, Sectra PACS, and Epic EMR
- 12-hour overnight shifts on a straight weekend schedule
- 13-week contract
- No floating to other units or departments
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Required hands-on experience with GE scanners
- Active ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Active state license required, if applicable
- 2 current professional references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the same specialty within the last 3 years
Additional Information
- Training/orientation is approximately 1-2 weeks
- This is a very high-volume, fast-paced CT department operating 24/7
- Collaborative team environment with experienced technologists
- Dark gray scrubs required
- Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date
- All staff are required to badge in and out at the facility
