Your Impact:
As an experienced Physician Assistant at Ventura Urgent Care, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Delivering acute, chronic, and preventative care.
- Providing primary care services.
- Treating minor injuries and performing procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records according to company policies.
- Collaborating effectively with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance clinical methods and procedures.
- Assisting clinical staff in adhering to policies and procedures.
- Upholding ethical, legal, and professional standards in compliance with regulations.
- Safeguarding patient confidentiality and maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Communicating feedback and concerns to the Medical Director.
- Supporting administrative and marketing efforts to sustain and expand our practice.
- Engaging in professional development and maintaining affiliations.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Leadership and management skills in a medical setting.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proven track record of implementing successful occupational health programs.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and relevant occupational health software.
