Stellar Rehabilitation is a independent, full-service healthcare practice, offering Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology. The office is currently seeking a part-time/ full- time Speech/Language Pathologist to serve our client base in Dane and Green Counties.
Salary: STARTING at $55.00 / Hr., based on experience and geographic location
Travel: 100%, FLEX (choose your own hours)
Responsibilities:
· Directs the evaluation process including the determination of needs for services, identifying key issues within the SLP’s domain, determining favorable treatment goals, and establishing treatment priorities
· Creates and implements patient treatment plans, including at-home tips and tricks to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle
· Assists to enhance the comfort of the patient by maintaining or enhancing functional movement to maintain or enhance quality of life
· Specialites may include Geriatrics, Home Health, and Physical/Rehabilitative Medicine
· Patient base may include but is not limited Adults and Seniors
· Monitors patient progress and reports progress to the team
· Maintains accurate patient records and productivity standards of the business
Qualifications:
· Have successfully passed the National Board Certification for Speech/Language Pathology
· PT must hold a current and active Wisconsin License to practice by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
· Excellent oral and written communication skills required
· Prior employment history demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced, healthcare environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
