Seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner) to join Oregon Emergency Physicians, a democratic EM group dedicated to caring for patients at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. Enjoy outstanding quality of life in the scenic beauty of the Pacific Northwest!
· PA candidates are required to have at least a master’s degree from a training program accredited by the ARC-PA (Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant/Associate) and have a current PA-C designation having passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE). Ideal PA candidates will have 3+ years of experience in emergency medicine (or other supportive acute care based settings), and/or have completed an emergency medicine residency accredited by the Association of Post Graduate PA Programs (APPAP).*
· NP Candidates are required to have at least a Masters degree from an accredited institution, and have a FNP and/or Adult Acute Care NP certification/licensure. Preferred NP candidates would have ENP-Certification, and/or 3+ years of Emergency Medicine clinical work (or other supportive acute care based settings).*
· Full time hours, with shifts covering typically in the morning through deep evening. Note: specific times may be subject to change.
· Independently managing moderate and low acuity patients with immediate side-by-side physician support available in a well-staffed ED.
