Position Overview
We are seeking a polished, confident, and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our luxury medical spa located in Midtown Manhattan. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine advanced medical expertise with aesthetic artistry in an elevated, patient-centered environment.
As an Aesthetics NP/PA, you will independently evaluate patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and deliver advanced non-surgical aesthetic and wellness services, including injectables, IV hydration therapy, and booster injections. You will be expected to uphold the highest standards of medical safety, discretion, and patient experience while contributing to a refined and welcoming clinical atmosphere. Your clinical judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail will play a key role in defining our brand and elevating the overall client journey.
Duties & Responsibilities
Aesthetic & Wellness Treatments
- Perform advanced aesthetic injectable treatments, including botulinum toxin and dermal fillers, in accordance with established medical protocols and New York State regulations
- Ordering of medical aesthetic products and clinical supplies, including injectables, IV fluids, vitamins, and disposables, in alignment with treatment demand and clinical protocols
- Conduct medical evaluations and determine patient candidacy for aesthetic and wellness treatments
- Administer and oversee IV hydration therapy and intramuscular booster injections (e.g., vitamin and wellness support)
- Prescribe or approve treatment plans and medications within scope of practice and collaborative agreements
- Ensure proper preparation and administration of injectable and IV therapies using strict aseptic technique
Patient Care & Consultation
- Perform comprehensive medical consultations, including detailed medical history review, physical examination, and skin assessment
- Develop individualized, results-driven treatment plans aligned with patient goals and luxury brand standards
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, contraindications, and post-treatment care
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, promptly recognizing and managing adverse reactions or complications
Clinical Standards & Leadership
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care
- Adhere to all infection control, safety, and sterilization protocols
- Stay current with advancements in aesthetic medicine, IV therapy, product knowledge, and regulatory requirements
- Provide clinical guidance and oversight to nursing staff as appropriate
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of New York
- Formal training or significant experience in aesthetic or cosmetic medicine preferred
- Proven hands-on experience with botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, IV therapy, and wellness injections
- Strong understanding of facial anatomy, physiology, venous access, and advanced aesthetic assessment principles
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate clinical documentation
- Excellent communication skills with a polished, confident, and compassionate bedside manner
- Strong knowledge of infection control, sterile processing, and medical safety standards
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and patient safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
