Full Job Description
We are seeking inpatient-experienced Neurology Advanced Practice Providers for prn coverage out of an 800-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital and regional referral center in Wilmington, NC. Highlights include flexible, self-scheduled shifts, competitive pay, and paid hotel, travel and malpractice.
Details:
- Nights 7pm – 7am – Flexible, Self-scheduled shifts
- Primary responsibilities – Nights: code stroke response/running the code, and cross coverage; Days: seeing new consults, seeing f/u patients, attending and leading stroke rounds (interdisciplinary rounds) daily at 10a on the stroke unit.
- Neuro surgery available on call. Intensivists in-house 24/7 who oversee vent management and complex medical needs.
- Average census 12-20
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- 2+ years inpatient neuro experience
