Physician Assistant – Internal Medicine / Primary Care
** Exceptional New Graduate Opportunity **
Artisan Primary Care is a growing physician-led practice providing longitudinal primary care services within assisted living, independent living, and memory care communities throughout the Phoenix area.
We are seeking exceptional new graduate Physician Assistants who are highly motivated, clinically strong, and eager to develop into outstanding primary care clinicians in a high-autonomy, continuity-based environment.
This role offers significantly greater clinical responsibility, continuity of care, and real-world medical decision-making than many traditional entry-level PA positions.
Providers in our practice care for the same patient panel over time and are expected to think longitudinally rather than episodically.
Structured Mentorship & Training
For highly qualified new graduates, we provide a structured onboarding and mentorship period of approximately 6–12 weeks.
We are especially interested in candidates who:
- genuinely enjoy primary care and longitudinal medicine
- are proactive learners
- have strong communication skills and clinical maturity
- are excited by autonomy and accelerated clinical growth
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage medically complex adult and geriatric patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Participate in medication management and longitudinal care planning
- Review labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Coordinate care with specialists, hospice, families, and residential care staff
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Develop strong continuity relationships with patients and facilities
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong academic and clinical performance
- Prior MA, EMT, CNA, scribe, paramedic, or healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Interest in primary care, internal medicine, geriatrics, or continuity-based medicine
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
Qualifications
- Active Arizona PA license required
- Ability to start within approximately 3 months
- NCCPA certified/eligible
Compensation & Benefits
- $110,000–$125,000 annually depending on clinical readiness and fit
