We are dedicated to transforming healthcare by providing medical services to the elderly population within our communities. We are seeking highly motivated physicians to join our clinical care team in San Mateo. We have availability in multiple cities within the county and surrounding areas.
You will have the flexibility to round at your own pace and make visits any time of day, any day of the week. There are no on-call requirements.
Position Overview:
As a clinical care team physician at HouseCall MD, our processes are set for you to focus more on patient care rather than paperwork.
You will function as a clinical leader, providing decision support to patients, families, and facilities. Your role will include:
- Performing preventive, routine, and/or urgent care visits to optimize chronic conditions, assess safety of living conditions, educate patients and caregivers, and develop proactive care plans.
- Coordinating with other clinical care providers across the continuum of care, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure smoother transitions and reduce unnecessary hospitalizations.
- Documenting visits in our EHR system.

Requirements:
- Preferably Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active (state) medical license.
- Active DEA license.
Please note: This is a doctor-friendly role—not a hospitalist position. Hospital privileges are not required. We provide primary care services.
