Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our mobile medicine team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to patients, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and prescribing medications as needed.
- Perform all examinations and procedures in patients’ homes.
- Work in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Perform sterile processing and administer medications, injections, and IV infusions as required.
- Provide urgent care services to patients who require immediate attention, including treating acute injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct patient education and counseling to promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arizona.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Experience working in a mobile setting.
- Experience administering injections and IV infusions.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy.
- Experience with palliative care.
