Full Job Description
We are looking for a licensed Ultrasound Technologist / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our friendly and growing healthcare and clinical research team. This is a flexible, easy-going opportunity ideal for someone looking for part-time hours in a supportive and diverse work environment.
You will work with both regular urgent care patients and clinical research participants depending on daily needs. Our team is multicultural, collaborative, and energetic, and we are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a positive team environment.
Flexible Schedule:
- Approximately 1–4 hour shifts
- 1–2 days per week or as-needed/on-call
- Flexible scheduling based on patient volume and availability
Responsibilities May Include:
- Performing ultrasound imaging procedures
- General, abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, or other ultrasound exams based on experience
- Assisting providers with patient imaging needs
- Maintaining accurate documentation and image quality
- Supporting both clinical care and research-related imaging when needed
Requirements:
- Active ultrasound/sonography license or certification required
- Experience operating ultrasound equipment
- Professional and patient-friendly attitude
- Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and team members
- Reliable commute to Orland Park required
Clinical research experience is welcome but not required. We are happy to work with motivated professionals looking for a flexible and enjoyable work environment.
