Physician Assistant (PA) – Adult Primary Care (High-Volume)
Location: Canarsie, Brooklyn, NY Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary: $180,000 – $190,000
A well-established adult primary care practice in Canarsie, Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its team. This role is designed for a provider who is comfortable working in a high-volume environment and is looking to be part of a fast-paced, efficient practice.
Very Important – Patient Volume Expectation
This position requires the provider to see a high volume of patients daily , with an expected average of:
- 30 – 35 patients per day
This is a key requirement. Candidates must be comfortable managing a busy schedule while maintaining quality care and efficiency.
Position Overview
The provider will focus on adult primary care in an outpatient setting. You will be supported by a dedicated Medical Assistant, allowing you to stay efficient and focused on patient care. The practice uses eClinicalWorks (ECW) .
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive adult primary care services
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Perform physicals, follow-ups, and preventive visits
- Maintain accurate documentation in eClinicalWorks (ECW)
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Collaborate with staff to maintain strong patient flow
Requirements
- Active New York State Physician Assistant license
- Active Medicaid ID required
- Strong experience in primary care required
- Must be comfortable seeing 30–35 patients per day
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and efficiency
