Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Primary Care & Infusion ServicesLocation: Rio Rancho, New MexicoEmployment Type: Full-Time / Part-TimeSupervision: Works under the direct medical orders and supervision of a licensed MD

Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide primary care services, chronic disease management, and infusion-related patient care under physician supervision. This role is ideal for a motivated provider experienced in outpatient clinical services with a passion for wellness and advanced therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions under MD supervision
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physician
  • Administer and oversee infusion therapies including:
  • Iron infusions
  • Hydration therapy
  • Vitamin infusions
  • Wellness injections
  • Monitor infusion patients for adverse reactions and ensure compliance with protocols
  • Perform physical exams and preventative health screenings
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
  • Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff for seamless patient care

Qualifications:

  • Active New Mexico Physician Assistant license
  • NCCPA certification required
  • DEA license preferred
  • Experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or internal medicine
  • IV infusion or biologic therapy experience preferred
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities
  • EMR proficiency
