Physician Assistant (Surgical – OR First Assist)
- Schedule: Standard 9-5, OR days can vary but scheduled in advance.
- Compensation: Starting range $130,00 and up based on experience

Step Beyond Traditional Clinical Work
Looking to expand beyond standard outpatient care? This role offers hands-on surgical experience, direct OR exposure, and the opportunity to work alongside leading bariatric surgeons across Long Island in clinic and hospitals such as Good Sam & St Charles.
You’ll split your time between patient care and first assisting in surgery, making this a strong fit for someone who wants to build both clinical and procedural expertise. Supported by an experienced clinical team including physicians, anesthesiologists, nursing leadership, and administrative staff.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct patient evaluations, exams, and diagnoses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes
- First assist in the OR, including suturing
- Educate and counsel patients and families
Requirements (Or pending)
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- Active New York State License
- ACLS & BLS Certification
Preferred (Not Required):
- OR or surgical assisting experience
- Prior clinical training experience
