Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA)/Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation practice. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality care for patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, spine, and pain-related conditions. This position involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, assisting with procedures, and supporting continuity of care in both office and procedural settings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, orthopedic, spine, and rehabilitation-related conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies including X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and laboratory tests
  • Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress
  • Educate patients on treatment options, medications, rehabilitation plans, and preventive care
  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Complete accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Respond to patient calls, prescription requests, and clinical questions
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all clinical protocols and standards

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program/Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Current Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license in the state of MA
  • DEA license preferred or ability to obtain
  • Previous experience in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Sports Medicine, or related specialty preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • EMR experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
