Job Description
Hospital-Based Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Part-Time
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our radiology team in a hospital-based setting. This role is ideal for an candidate with strong vascular access skills who enjoys collaborative work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Monitor patients receiving contrast and assess for any adverse reactions
- Provide timely clinical intervention when needed
- Collaborate closely with radiology technologists and imaging staff
- Support safe and efficient patient flow within the department
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
Schedule
- Four weekday evening shifts: 4:15 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturdays 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Qualifications
- Current Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in the state of New Jersey required
- NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants or national board certification for Nurse Practitioners required
- BLS certification required
- Strong vascular access/IV placement skills required
- Prior radiology, outpatient imaging, infusion, urgent care, or procedural experience preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
