Clinical Coordinator (College of Health Sciences – Physician Assistant Studies )

Faulkner University’s College of Health Sciences (CHS) is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Clinical Coordinator within the Physician Assistant Studies program. The selected individual will be responsible for providing administrative, accreditation, and general office support to the Director of Clinical Education, clinical faculty, students, and preceptors. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.
Summary of Duties:
- Maintains and manages preceptor and accreditation databases to ensure accuracy
- Coordinates and facilitates the onboarding process for students entering clinical rotations
- Maintains confidential clinical student records, files, and tracking systems in accordance with institutional and accreditation standards
- Assists with the planning and coordination of student-focused events and program activities
- Coordinates scheduling for end-of-rotation exams and provides support for the administration and proctoring of clinical course exams
- Assists with the coordination, preparation and communication of clinical team meetings, including meeting logistics and related documentation
- Serves as an information resource for students, applicants, faculty, staff, clinical partners and the public regarding the program
- Participates in program functions such as admissions, student orientation, and graduation processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years relative work experience preferred
- Experience in a medical related field preferred
- Active member of the church of Christ preferred
