Job Title: Physician Assistant – Family Medicine
Location: Dearborn, MI
Job Type: Full-Time
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant, or related field
- Active Michigan Physician Assistant License (or NP license/certification if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
- At least 1 year of medical office experience
- At least 1 year of experience working with youth preferred
Job Duties:
- Perform physical exams and obtain comprehensive patient health histories
- Diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work
- Prescribe medications and recommend treatments as needed
- Conduct screenings, immunizations, school physicals, STD screenings, and other general medical exams
- Provide patient education and counseling on health conditions and preventive care
- Refer patients to specialists and follow up on treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care
- Monitor program progress and maintain compliance with healthcare standards
- Support chronic disease prevention programs and community health initiatives
Skills Required:
- Experience using medical equipment such as EKG and PFT machines
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical setting
- Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and medical documentation standards
Pay: $49.00 – $54.95 per hour
